CLASSES ON ENERGY, ART, & THE TAROT

TAROT is an ancient system of divination using a set of 78 cards. In the past, tarot has been viewed by many just for fortune telling. In modern times, the tarot has become a way to empower ourselves by understanding what was previously unrecognized. The exact origins of the tarot are unknown, although many speculate that it was derived from the ancient Egyptian Mystery School ( called the Book of Thoth) or a deck of Italian playing cards made for the Visconti-Sforza families in the 15th Century.

The tarot's rich archetypical images serve as a symbolic map of consciousness, and a tool for inner guidance and growth. Understanding the symbolic system that underlies the tarot, by connecting it with other systems can turn the cards into a powerful tool for healing and clarity. We offer a variety of interactive workshops, oriented towards different groups.

Description: This workshop is oriented towards artists. Students learn a systematized approach to the tarot to enrich the substance of their work and create breakthroughs in their lifestyles. It will help them understand:

1. When to work.
2. When to take breaks.
3. How to deeply grasp archetypal images and symbols for incorporation into their art.

Students are also encouraged to create their own tarot images. The goal is for artists to be able to discover exciting new perspectives and enhance their creative satisfaction.

Description: This workshop is oriented towards healers, integrating modern polarity therapy practices with the ancient system of tarot. It uses a combination of slides, discussions, and interactive exercises to illuminate how the tarot can be used to tap into unconscious processes and change limiting thought patterns. Description: This slide presentation is for those interested in looking for a refreshing way to view life and its forces. We will look closely at the imagery of the tarot, how it relates to images found in art history and the elemental energies.
