Cups/Water cards are about emotions, relationships and human feelings. Cups/Water indicators are mainly about love relationships. They signify connecting, flowing and nurturing. Cups/Water cards are portrayed with chalices or hearts. Cups/Water cards are often about the relationship of mother to child, lovers, or individually, about connecting our feet to the ground.

Cups/Water cards may also indicate the occult or addictions.  They signify the quest or search for the Universal or the Divine. Cups/Water influence the need of boundaries. They also indicate flow. Cups/Water need a container to hold, encompass, and form emotional and energetic content, as Water Element is a liquid quality.
