Cups/Water cards are about emotions, relationships, intuition and feelings.

Earth/Pentacle Cards are everything physical or literal. They are about work, money issues and structure.

The Court cards are the people cards of the deck; others who are influencing the situation or a part of your self.

When I first started reading Tarot cards, I was taught this 4 card elemental spread that is my go to spread. When I went on to study Polarity Therapy, it fit right into the four acitive elements, and inspired me to continue to synthesize systems.

In metaphysical wisdom systems Ether is most often equated with space itself. It is associated with the entire wheel of the zodiac, and all elements are expressed through this realm.

The Air Element is the lightest of the Four Active Elements. It is linked to movement, quickness and agility. It is quick versus stagnant. The Air Element rules our thoughts.

The basic qualities of the Fire element are heat, brightness and clarity. Fire is compelling.

The Water Element conveys our ability to be receptive, to flow, and be flexible. Water is nurturing and facilitates making connections.

Earth is energy manifested into form, and defines boundaries. Earth is also solid, secure and grounded.

Each Chakra has a specific vibrational frequency, which are associated with the light spectrum (color), biji (sound), and iconography (symbol) that help in tuning into the Chakras.
