January 2026
Like many of you, I’m genuinely relieved to say goodbye to 2025. The turning of the calendar always invites the same question: What now? What’s next?
For this New Year Tarot in Motion reflection, I chose to pre-select the cards—something I don’t often do. All three are Major Arcana, marking this transition as a significant threshold rather than a small shift.
We begin with The Fool (0)—letting go of 2025 with open hands. We aim toward The World (XXI) for 2026, the place where our highest dreams can be lived and embodied. Standing between those two states of being is The Magician (I).
The Magician is a card that has evolved for me over time. It reminds us that we already have everything we need—not only to make a choice, but to choose how we want to move forward. In Polarity Therapy terms, the Magician represents the neutral point: the place where things actually happen. It supports confidence, clarity, and communication.
Personally, the idea of quieting my mind and dancing with myself feels like exactly the right medicine to begin this year.
Below is the movement-based Tarot guidance I’m working with as I cross into 2026. You’re warmly invited to explore it in your own way.
